HEALTH AWARENESS PROJECT FOR PENDLE INFANTS

This Project was established as a result of the concerns of the number of deaths in Pendle under the age of two years.

HAPPI Logo

It is not a project that addresses ‘Cot death’, but looks at many aspects of infant safety.

The project involves the Community Safety Partnership, Foundation for the Study of Infant Death (FSID), Police and a great number of other organisations that have an interest in child safety, including Surestart, Fire and Rescue Service, Primary Care Trusts and Action on Children’s Accident Project (ACAP).

FSID Logo

It is aimed at current parents, parents to be, young parents, single parents and any parents who feel they may need some extra guidance.
