Pendle Economic Regeneration Project (PERP)

Pendle Economic Regeneration Programme (PERP)

SRB6 was the last round of SRB bidding and from April 2002 the Northwest Development Agency introduced the Single Programme, which combines all the Agency's regeneration funding and is designed to help the NWDA achieve the regional priorities identified in its regional strategy. The programme will be economic in nature, non-competitive, and based on needs identified by LSPs.

Pendle Partnership has already been successful in gaining £3m through the Single Programme for the Pendle Economic Regeneration Programme (PERP). PERP is expected to lever in £325,000 of European cash, £100,000 of additional public sector money and £3m of private sector money. PERP complements SRB6 and will fund a number of economic projects. The additional resources available through PERP will particularly benefit residents in Brierfield and Nelson (Bradley & Whitefield wards). The programme runs until 2007.
