Throughout the year we organise tours, which enable us to see places which otherwise we would visit only rarely. In each three month period there is at least one hostelling weekend, organised in association with the long ride. We ride out to a hostel on the Saturday, returning on Sunday to join up with the scheduled long run at their lunch stop. Popular hostels include Arnside, Kirkby Stephen, and Osmotherly.
Most years we organise two longer tours of one weeks duration. The May tour usually explores a scenic part of Scotland, covering 50-60 miles a day and staying in hostels. Usually, we also run a September Tour, again one week, which in previous years have been in parts of England and Wales which offer a combination of quiet byways and attractive countryside.
