Suzanne Hodgson – Sport Development Manager Suzanne has worked in Sport and Recreation for the last 24 years initially being employed by Pendle Council to introduce Play Schemes across the borough. Since the formation of Pendle Leisure Trust and the introduction of Sports Development into Pendle in October 2000 she has led the Unit through to its current status. A keen equestrian, until recently Suzanne spent most weekends competing in various events across Lancashire. |

Joe Cooney – Club Development Officer Joe joined the Sports Development Unit in June 2008 as the Club Development Officer. Joe’s role is supporting clubs and helping increase participation, increasing volunteers within key target groups as well as improving the infrastructure of local clubs. Joe joins Sports Development from Pendle Borough Council and is well known to local sport clubs as he is actively involved in amateur football as a referee. |

Adrian Lamb – Community Outreach Officer Adrian joined Sports Development as a casual coach in August 2004, before becoming the full time coach co-ordinator in August 2005. Adrian was appointed Community Outreach Officer in July 2008. Adrian has a variety of coaching qualifications and enjoys his role in Sports Development as he is doing what he loves everyday. In his spare time Adrian coaches Pendle Forest U12’s football team and is Assistant Manager for Accrington Stanley U12’s. |

Tom joined Sports Development in October 2005 as a fulltime Community Sports Coach. Tom’s role includes coaching in the local primary/secondary schools together with coaching out in various community settings. Tom has a keen interest in boxing and currently runs a non-contact boxing session at Pendle Leisure Centre. Before joining Sports Development Tom worked as a volunteer coach for Burnley FC Community & Leisure Programme, initially moving onto Pendle Leisure Trust as a lifeguard and gym instructor. In his spare time Tom enjoys football and played for Halifax Town in his late teens. |

Stuart Metcalfe – Community Sports Coach Stuart is the newest member of the Sports Development Unit starting in July 2008, although Stuart first worked for Sports Development as a volunteer coach in July 2004 attending the Lancashire Youth Games. Stuart enjoys coaching and seeing the young people develop over the weeks. Before joining Sports Development full time Stuart completed his Foundation Degree in Sports Coaching and a BA (HONS) in Sport Studies. Stuart is a keen amateur footballer and spent part of 2008 in New York coaching at Camp America. |
