What will it cost?
The Leisure Passport is available to all residents living in the Borough of Hyndburn who are on limited incomes.
Individual £3.00
Family (applicant + spouse/partner + children) £5.00
Group (statutory body - 1 leader + up to 10 individuals) £20.00
The Leisure Passport is valid for 6 months from the date of issue.
To purchase a Leisure Passport you will need:
1. Proof of eligibility/stamped application form
2. One recent passport photo of yourself and anyone else to be included on the pass
What is needed to prove eligibility?
- unemployed
- application form stamped by your benefits office
- receiving Council Tax benefit or housing benefit
- application form stamped by your benefits office
- receiving income support or job seekers allowance
- application form stamped by your benefits office
- student in full-time education over 16 years of age
- student union/x-tend card or application form stamped by your school/college
- aged 60 or over
- proof of age
- registered disabled
- green card or application form stamped by your benefits office
Who is Eligible?
- unemployed
- Those receiving Council Tax or Housing Benefit
- Those receiving Income Support or Job Seekers Allowance
- Students - 16yrs + in full-time education
- Students - 16-19 yrs attending Training Provider Schemes
- Registered Disabled
- 60+
- Note: Carers who escort a disabled member automatically gain the benefits of a Leisure Passport Holder.
