A new and easy to use Council website will soon be available. Citizens can expect greater accessibility, more online services and 24-hour access to many Council services.

E-Citizen is an on-line service for all customers to be able to access their own benefit details online 24 / 7. Register now for the chance to be 1 of 2 lucky winners who will each receive a £25 voucher for the Calder. The draw will be made from the first 50 customers to register for their PIN number.

Club bosses launch ‘Coca-Cola’ Talent from Trash initiative

The main improvement work to the car park at Holgate Street, Great Harwood, is due to be completed on 14th September 2007, although the car park may be closed for a short period thereafter to allow for fencing work to be completed. The work, which was started on the 16th July 2007, has already seen a dramatic visual improvement to the area. Further work is expected to be completed by November in the form of environmental improvements to the surrounding planted and grassed areas.
