Between the 18th and 21st of August, Colne and Nelson hosted an outdoor continental market, to complement their existing indoor and outdoor regular stalls.

There was a wide selection of wares available - including a continental bakery, jewellery, fresh meats and cheeses, cakes and sweets, dried fruit and nuts, leather bags, childrens toys and a selection of food outlets.

The markets were well attended, with many people having the opportunity to taste new foods and try samples of flavours from around the world.

The market is due to return in December, just in time for Christmas - we'll be looking forward to it!
