One To One Support Service

East Lancs Advocacy is a registered charity that offers one to one support to people experiencing mental health problems in hospital or in the community.

They work independently and confidentially with each client, offering support to clients on the issues they feel are important.

They aim to empower people to speak and be heard - to express themselves and be taken seriously.

They also facilitate self advocacy groups and enable people to ask for things/change the way things happen/suggest new ideas.

They can help people access other services and explore different ways of dealing with situations.

Their service is free and totally confidential.

Short Term/Generic Advocacy Service

East Lancs Advocacy also offer a short term/generic advocacy service which offers support to vulnerable people in their dealings with Health and Social Services.  The three main client groups are learning disabilities, physical disabilities and older people.

DO YOU FEEL OTHER PEOPLE ARE MAKING DECISIONS ABOUT YOUR LIFE AND NO ONE IS LISTENING TO YOU?

DO YOU THINK YOU COULD HELP OTHERS BY BECOMING A VOLUNTEER ADVOCATE?
