Pendle has a comprehensive array of green areas, comprising of parks, gardens and recreation grounds.  Most parks have childern's play areas, and some have wheelparks, bowling, picnic areas, and tennis courts.

There are several multi-use play areas and recreation grounds which are suitable for playing a wide range of sports including football, basketball and cricket.
