Key Issues & Key Priority GroupsPendle Partnership has eight Key Priority Groups (KPGs), each of which deals with one of the issues highlighted in Pendle’s Community Strategy.
To find out more about the work of individual Key Priority Groups click on one of the links in the box above. The Key Priority Groups are a vital part of the Partnership, allowing specific issues and challenges to be considered in-depth. More than 200 people from a wide range of public, private, voluntary and community organisations are involved in the Key Priority Groups. The Groups enable people from different organisations to come together and share their knowledge and experience so they can achieve common goals. They are therefore a very effective way for people working on the same issues, or providing similar services, to network and work in partnership. Each group has a Chair and a Lead Officer responsible for arranging meetings and setting the agendas to ensure that they are effective forums for developing strategy and delivering on the issues set out in the Community Strategy. Each Key Priority Group develops an annual Action Plan and this is monitored though a rigorous Performance Management System.
