For the past 3 years The Beacon Children’s Centre has an Open Day during July to celebrate its launch in the transformed Victorian schoolroom of the St Mary’s Parish Centre, and of its designation as a Children’s Centre.

Up to 400 family members and invited guests per year regularly attend. With entertainment and activities to keep everyone busy and offer local people the chance to see the potential of the centre.

This years Annual Celebration Fun day is on Sunday 13th July 2008 between 12noon and 3pm.

Puppet Show

Puppet Making

Face Painting

Drum Workshop

Slater's Ice Cream Van will be on site
