Stay and Play

Stay & Play

The Beacon Children’s Centre aims to work in partnership with families to provide a successful open play session in the heart of the community. A session where parents/carers stay and play with their child in a pleasant, fun environment.

·          Fun Activities for children 0-4 years

·          Come along to our play sessions

·          Have some fun

·          Meet new friends whilst developing your child’s physical, social and emotional skills

·          Activities include; free play, story time, singing time, various activities and snack time

We offer a wide range of play equipment that provides opportunities for the child to explore and expand their understanding and is based on the principle of Continuous Provision.

We welcome and appreciate parent helpers. If you attend with your child and would like to help at anytime, we would be extremely grateful.

There are many ways in which you can help:

  • Reading to the children
  • Working with small groups
  • Helping with arts and crafts
  • Helping staff to set up and tidy away
  • Displaying children's work
