Fox's We'll (Robin Hood's Well) (Fox's Pulpit). George Fox preached here in 1652 after a revelation on top of Pendle. It used to be hard to find but after the last few years of heavy rain the ground below it has now turned from a very small area of lush growth to a huge one and the original lower well flows after heavy rain |

The 3rd of February 2007was a perfect day in Pendle but - just as though the it knew precisely where the boundary was - the Ribble Valley was swathed in mist. The "island" is Longridge Fell with the Boy Scout memorial in front and Clitheroe lost in the mist |
